Yeah, they're gonna delete those messages ..

I would usually say, they should "go for it" as then the judge would order all the deleted evidence to be treated as harmful to the defendents case, but since law is dead in the US it doesn't really matter.

I still can’t believe the journalist didn’t fly under the radar and collect “opsec secure” messages for weeks or months. I get it ethically, but the other side has no ethics or shame and is literally pushing fascism on a democratic country.

Maybe sit still and listen a little longer before you write the story. You know, for the next time this happens.

I mean the The Athantic editor is literally the best friends with US state department and the whole military idustrial complex. He got his story, but he didn't want to do any real damage.

Check his background. It's literally not a surprise that he was in the contact list of the people that added him...

The problem is that the people he’s reporting on don’t give a shit and actively manipulate people’s perceptions through social and to a lesser extent traditional media. Open question whether they’re doing things like this deliberately to signal weakness and tank the US economy and reputation. Their incompetence is weaponized for a reason and assuming they don’t have some kind of profit motive seems naive. Kushner got billions from the Saudis in the comparatively tame nightmare scenario.

Fighting under gentlemanly Queensbury rules with these people is not going to get results. If anyone is still out there trying to protect the republic, maybe read the memo that it’s different this time.

Like they give a fuck about judge’s orders. The administration only listens when the orders screw other people, not them.
