Wtf kind of fishing rod are they selling in Stardew Valley, also, is it on the edge of a deep marine trench??
It's an event during one of the festival where a submarine takes you down to the ocean floor.
Then it would not suffer from decompression since you don't either.
And there's justification I need for not having to change the asset when it's brought to the surface.
It's already depicted in it's corpse form while it's on the bottom of the trench. I do not like that every time I see it I am reminded that this is what the real fish looks like after it's exploded.

Yes, that would definitely have been the sequence of events.
There is an auto battler game called super auto pets that does exactly this even including a pressure chamber.

or perhaps an elephant seal can be a good replacement

We do agree, it is pretty horrible, really makes one or many think about fishing...
It's already depicted this way on the sea floor when you catch it. I just don't like seeing it's corpse form represented instead of it's cute normal form.
