Plastic rain. Some stay dry and others feel the pain.

Plastic rain. At least a spoon-worth is inside your brain.

Okay, this is serious, and we should all be concerned. Still, I'm going to laugh my ass off if the microplastics that threaten our population also increase the albedo of the earth, thereby reestablishing homeostasis in a two-fold way.

not being overly optimistic, but I don't think it is very serious - basically microplastic here are acting as soot or smoke particles and acting as nuclei - they can not be present in large amounts due to weight, so this is just as bad as having smoke in sky - not good by any means but not any worse really.

Smoke is more carcinogenic than microplastics, even. Smoke from coal plants kills around a hundred thousand people per year, while microplastics are more common and have less effect.

I think that's a logical take.

Shooting bullets into fascists full of plastic components

Fascists are mostly biodegradable.

It's Raining Men starts playing as green plastic army men fall from the clouds

Water vapor has a greenhouse effect for the planet, so this is another bad thing we've created with plastic.

Clouds also reflect light so they cool a bit during the day. And there's the same amount of water in the atmosphere whether the water is in clouds or not.

I wasn't the least bit surprised by this
