For an even more affordable (tube-only) option, consider the Continental Ultra Sport III. They are significantly less expensive than the GP5000 and seem to be about half the price of the Grant Prix TR.

Been rocking a pair for 2000km with no signs of wear. They were <$30 Canadian each.
