On-time liftoff of Spectrum at 10:30 UTC. Around T+18 seconds, the vehicle did a somersault, and the engines went out shortly after.

The launch pad is intact, though only narrowly.

The flight termination system was apparently validated seconds, ~~though I can't see any signs of this in the above drone footage~~. Edit: Smallsat launcher FTS often don't use explosive, but just shut off the engines.

Best of luck for the next flight!

The inaugural flight of Isar Aerospace's Spectrum rocket from Andøya Space As is currently targeted for Saturday, March 29th, with the three-hour launch window opening at 12:30 CET / 11:30 UTC.

NASASpaceflight will provide livestream coverage: https://bsky.app/profile/nasaspaceflight.com/post/3llez7kuoz22h

The launch will be streamed 🔴LIVE🔴 by Isar Aerospace in collaboration with NASASpaceflight from 12:15 CET / 11:15 UTC. "Going full Spectrum" is the first test flight of Spectrum, the launch vehicle Isar Aerospace has designed, developed and built almost entirely in-house.

The first test flight of #Spectrum is scrubbed due to unfavorable winds. Launch vehicle and range remain healthy, and the team is working to determine a new launch window together with @AndoyaSpace Spaceport. Well done team for today’s attempt.
