Supporting the company is supporting the CEO unless the board of directors fires his nazi ass.

I guess him stepping down will fool many people, but I won't buy anything from Tesla as long as he owns their stock.

Yep, he'll still make way too fucking much if they do well.

Which they probably won't, if we are to be honest. Lots of competition coming onto the scene, assuming that donvict/fElon cannot put their thumb on the scales of that competition.

And that's without the brand now being associated with Nazis.

I don’t approve of Elon Musk’s role in dismantling the federal government, but I don’t think protesters should take it out on Tesla owners. We bought our Tesla two years ago. We recently placed a sticker on our bumper that says, “ I bought this before Elon went crazy.” We knew Elon was getting weird, but we had no idea he would join the Trump team and wreak havoc on the government.

Lonnie bought xitter in the fall of 2022 which was more than 2 years ago.

It was very clear he was a gaslighting asshole quite some time ago.

For me the final straw was when he shut down Starlink during offensive operation causing it to fail that's when I sell all Tesla stock and promised myself to never buy Tesla (I really wanted to own it before that), and it only got worse from there.

I had the usual uneasiness you'd expect from a new manufacturer in the auto industry of all things - that's a big bag to hold if they go under and some part goes bad in 8 years. Then there was that vlog or whatever when he was smoking cannabis. Like, I have nothing against the stuff, but what kind of statement are you trying to make? That you're super edgy or something? I just had a really bad feeling about him from that. Then he started talking about taking Tesla private and shares went a little nutso for a bit. I think he got fined for that?

Anyway, maybe not a moral line in the sand but enough to give me the heebie-jeebies which turned out to be spot on for once in my life.

I mean he didn’t even inhale it. It was clearly for show. That whole Rogan interview disillusioned me to the guy. The shit he was saying was not intelligent, and Rogan was like “THIS GUYS A GENIUS!” Ruined Rogan for me too honestly.

Insert "they're the same picture" corporate picture meme. Also, cry me a river.
