Sure that people have been able to pay off a takeaway with Klarna or similar for a while now in the U.K.
This needs some serious regulation, just as credit card APRs do. Not likely to happen in this administration!
We just did this in Norway, like last year.
To use Klarna now, you must have signed a credit agreement and have a set limit. Just like any other credit card.
