I didn't really care about promo cards, but I was still doing the bonus picks thinking I'd get both of them eventually. Not sure why my luck has been so terrible recently.

Did you get one eventually? I felt a bit annoyed for having using wonder pick hourglasses to get them, because I did get them eventually from the free bonus picks.

The trick with these events seems to be checking the app all the time. I've never used the Chansey picks and I have multiples of the event pokemon.
The only time I ever use the Chansey picks is when the event has artwork exclusive to it. Most of the time you can get them from the bonus picks, you just have to be somewhat lucky and be able to check the app regularly.
