7. No duplicate posts.
If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners or news aggregators.
All posts must link to original article sources. You may include archival links in the post description. News aggregators such as Yahoo, Google, Hacker News, etc. should be avoided in favor of the original source link. Newswire services such as AP, Reuters, or AFP, are frequently republished and may be shared from other credible sources.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

There are protests happening all the time. Problem is they also control the media so no one knows

They need to be bigger, pushier and more frequent.
Nobody planning a real resistance should be talking about it on a completely open and searchable platform anyway. It should be happening in person and in private with the best “opsec” possible.
People here are asleep at the wheel. They have no idea what these lunatics have in store for them. This guy is an open white supremacist, JD Vance endorsed a book calling for mass genocide of all non-MAGA people, Patel wants to prosecute Trump's critics, and Trump spent all of last year calling ordinary people "vermin" who need to be crushed.
Convincing people to protest is like pulling teeth. So many people are convinced that protests "don't work" because BLM didn't achieve the change they wanted or they're already caving that they'll get arrested or some other pathetic excuse. It's infuriating.
Soon they won't have a choice. And if they don't act then, I really don't see a way out of this except getting the fuck out of the country and hoping the rest of the world can contain the massive amount of damage this admin is going to cause.

That's another thing I'm sympathetic to the US about - voter apathy is a strong beast and it's unfortunate that the majority (in nearly any country) is not bothered about any change in power.
