Ladies, help me choose nail polish for a St Paddy's Day fest this weekend! I will be wearing all the tacky plastic shamrock shit the grocery store will sell me (plus green eyeshadow). Here are the contenders (from left to right):
ILNP - Reminisce
ILNP - 1UP
Cirque Colors - High Society
Cirque Colors - Mood Ring (magnetic)
Cirque Colors - Ethel
Orly - It's Not Rocket Science
Sinful Colors - Calypso
Which one should I go with?
They're great colours. I've carefully considered and Ethel might go well with paddy's day mascots, bunting, clothing etc and it's a cheerful colour. However the ILNP are really great colours. So any of those!
Yeah I really love Ethel and was secretly hoping it would get more love, haha... but the ILNP ones seem to be pretty popular!
It's a great colour... is you wanting people's to pick it just you love it or a gut instinct? If it's a gut instinct I say pick it!
Just that I love it and I don't think I give her the attention she deserves. I have over 300 nail polishes (yikes!). But I'm thinking I'll get a pedi with Ethel next week, and use the two ILNP colors for my St Paddy's mani.
Love that idea its best of both worlds. And 300 nail varnishes is a great thing... if you were an artist with 300 types of paint you'd be admired for it. This should be no different!
I’m drawn to Reminisce or Mood Ring. It’s still chilly in my area, so I’m digging the darker shades.
The 1st looks like the best match but I would lean towards Mood Ring because if is more fun. What does your inner leprechaun say?
I do love Mood Ring! She says a different green on each finger and toe (which I could do because I have like 40 green polishes) but I'm trying to streamline things haha
My vote is third from the right, Cirque Colors - High Society. I think that feels both spring and St. Patrick-y.

If it's going to be cold out, I'd choose a darker green. But if you're somewhere warm, the brighter greens would be fun!

If it was me I would go alternating between the two ILNP polishes.
