Please no. The last thing PC gaming needs is the further normalization of mobile style microtransactions.

Is anyone really asking for this? I can't think of a single high profile mobile game that isn't already available on PC natively.

And this is going to absolutely ruin any semblance of balance in the multiplayer games balanced around mobile players when people can far more easily use a PC to make macros and such. It's already possible, but the hoops to jump through make it less likely.

Everything about this just seems intensely unpleasant.

I don't know if I would say I was asking for it but I've had multiple instances in the past where I wished it was easier to play my android games on my windows desktop, especially if saves synced.

You make some kind of arbitrary cut off for "high profile games" as if those are the only ones worthy of consideration, but for me...

I'd play Professor Layton. They had HD remakes for Android which are pretty top notch but not natively available on PC.

Final Fantasy Tactics on the go was a good idea initially, but turns out playing on even a relatively large phone screen was kind of annoying, so I stopped playing it. If I could easily pull that up on PC, I'd for sure play through it. It's not natively available on PC.

Balatro is a perfect mobile game. But, even if you own both the mobile and PC version, the saves don't transfer easily. So while this one is available on PC natively, yes, I bought it first on mobile and would have probably used this to play on PC instead of rebuying it on Steam.
