I watched a documentary (Dear Kelly) this weekend and he showed up in it for a few minutes. The whole time I was saying his face looked too big after years of mainly seeing edits
As part of his conditions for appearing in the documentary, Charlie demanded that they digitally enlarge his face.

I am convinced, these are just astroturfed memes to reduce threat assumptions about JD Vance.
The propaganda machines are sophisticated. All modern poltical commentary should be serious, satire is dead.
The onion editors felt bad for making Biden seem more likable than he is, so, it doesn't seem completely implausible that someone could intentionally do something similar for Vance.
