This could be the most insightful description of fascism on the Internet and it'd still be kind of fucked up and disingenuous to ask the question like that.

For one thing, it either just straight up assumes the listener is an idiot and hasn't heard of Imperial Japan or it ignores the vast majority of their crimes.

Looking through the bookmarks I'm going to go with it's not the most insightful description. Seems ironically Eurocentric though.
