I may have a miserable existence at times but at least I've never spent money on Reddit.
That article is the reason I deleted my Reddit account and came to Lemmy

I'm neutral on some new subreddits being paywalled, since it's not like I'm going to ever fork out a single cent for them. But what is this about adding more ads? I swear the ads I already see in Reddit are are the shittiest, most annoying garbage ever.
I just deleted the reddit app today, apparently not a minute too early.
