Summary

Donald Trump’s executive order offering asylum to white South Africans follows years of lobbying by AfriForum, a far-right Afrikaner group promoting “white genocide” conspiracies.

The group, linked to Elon Musk, falsely claims white farmers are racially targeted, using this narrative to challenge South Africa’s affirmative action laws, particularly those blocking Musk’s Starlink business.

AfriForum has met with Trump officials and conservative think tanks to amplify its claims in U.S. right-wing media.

South African leaders reject these allegations, calling them distortions aimed at undermining post-apartheid reforms.

Here follows a link to a song about Afrikaners. It is from the 1980s and exceptionally politically incorrect, but it fits a certain subset of Afrikaners exceptionally well. Namely these people and a certain billionaire.

Funny, no mention of the Afrikaner in a t-shirt and a dork maga hat...
