I use that "call my phone" option all the time on my browser. 95% of the time, it's on top of something like a shelf.
I got a smartwatch to track my exercise, and I figured that’s the only feature I would use.
Then I discovered there’s a “ping phone” button that works even when my phone is in silent mode, which it always is.
Amazing.
Tall person problems?
Do you find yours under furniture? My shelves are normal height in my house lol
No, for a good long while (and still occasionally sometimes) I'd set things down in places that only I could reach, but nobody would normally look, like the tops of shelves or the top of the refrigerator. Nobody else could help me look for things when they literally can't see them.
I was joking, but, I will set things down on any surface that will hold it. I'm the only one that can find it because I'm the only one weird enough to put that thing there.
I sometimes refer to my phone as a continuum transfunctioner.
I’ll just keep scrolling Lemmy until I remember where I put it. If I get impatient, I’ll use the “find my” app.
