Drones are cheap. The "I point lasers at planes" and the "I fly drones during emergencies" crowds overlap
Interesting. But why is this in a politics community? I don't see any relation to politics.
It was a government plane with laws around it and he was prosecuted. This about drone laws and a follow up.

Yeah not all politics is about who we're being told to hate
This particular article doesn't mention that this was a Canadian government plane and an international incident. I think that qualifies.
I had no idea about the Canadian part: https://globalnews.ca/news/10991822/la-wildfires-drone-pilot-canadian-aircraft-damage-guilty/
The same Canadians the US government wants to apply tariffs to? That's not very chill of you, dudes.
I was just wondering if I missed something. (Like if the guy was a politician or something.)
I know planes are fast etc but the drone he used is 250g which is 10 to 30 times lighter than a goose.
I would have expected light scratches maybe?
I'd thought someone sent out a Hollywood grade heavy drone weighing much more with a lot more metal because... Hollywood is right there.
That's a lot of damage for 250g of plastic and LiPo
