MODERATORS

Hey everyone. I was the Director of Video Production for the Gravel Institute until it folded back in 2022.

Several Gravel Institute colleagues and I have been hard at work developing a new series of videos with Jacobin Magazine, and our first new video has released today, featuring OG Gravel presenter and brilliant historian Matt Karp.

Things are pretty terrible in America (and the world at large), but they don’t have to be.

It's called "the American Dream" because you have to be asleep to believe it.

People think Carlin was simply a comedian when he was actually an Oracle.

That explains why his comedy made me sad and introspect more than it made me actually laugh.

Nice thanks. Liked the video but think it is more complex. I have both Trump lovers and Trump loathers in my Family and it is not connected to how well people are doing.

It seems more connected to individualism. It also seems to be a rural vs city thing. Perhaps an unreasonable expectation thing too plus fabricated fake news. Too much change is a factor also. Then there is disconnection.
