"I just got a lifetime ban from the 'comics' subreddit. Yesterday, I posted a humor comic that got over 5,400 upvotes. Then I noticed that there was a pinned post from the moderators saying that comics linked from X could no longer be shared because Musk gave a Nazi salute. I commented saying no he didn't. The moderator accused me of being pro-Nazi, banned me permanently for life, and deleted all my past posts from the 'comics' subreddit. But somehow Elon Musk is the totalitarian?"

LMAO, the mod that permanently banned this dude is amazing!

Spez is probably a centimillionaire, and Sam Altman supposedly has a 9% stake in Reddit. It’s a big club, and you ain’t in it.

Spez was a total musk fanboy during the early Twitter changes and said that he used him as an inspiration when changing Reddit's api, breaking all the decent phone clients. I don't doubt he'll do anything to join the big boys club.

I've never been banned from Reddit. I left voluntarily. I'm always skeptical about people on Lemmy because they got kicked off of Reddit...lmao

There was a clip of a 12 year old boy being purposely run over by a twat. I commented that if he had done that to any of my two boys he might get very hurt.

I got banned completely for threatening violence. I appealed because I didn't threaten anyone. No warning, not a 7 day ban or whatever.
