I rewatched this last night. It holds up pretty well, mainly because it was totally unbelievable in the first place. Dennis Hopper nails it.

Perhaps, but the left hand drive makes it fairly unsafe for left lane use.

You can tell the right lane apart by looking at the position of the driving wheel.
They can be in Europe, yes. But they are on the wrong lane.
The only country in Europe with left lane driving doesn't have mountains like that.
There are four countries and one includes Scotland (and the others are Ireland, Malta, and Cyprus).
