Black Americans for Trump Coalition

Lol
The mind boggles...

Is that a sister organization of Jews for KKK or Women for Serial Rapists?

[–] Quill7513@slrpnk.net 26 points 11 months ago (1 children)

frankly yes. they don't go by those names but those orgs effectively exist

[–] Raiderkev@lemmy.world 16 points 11 months ago (2 children)

For instance, Jews for Trump, and Women for Trump.

White women overwhelmingly support Trump

[–] blackbrook@mander.xyz 3 points 11 months ago (1 children)

52% voted for him in 2024. That's a funny use of 'overwhelmingly'.

I can understand that voting blocs within the Democratic coalition want to make sure they aren't taken for granted. But, being locked into a two-party setup, the only effective way to do that is to deny support to their least-worst political option.

This is the consequence of that strategy. This is the alternative to being taken for granted by your nominal allies: Being defenseless in the face of the attacks against you.
