The main mod for this colony was Vanilla Factions Expanded Empire which greatly improves the Empire. I think I got my main pawn to Archcount.

One of my design goals was no rectangular rooms which I think I achieved. The rooms in the bottom left were intended to be guest rooms for royals so they'd be fairly copy and paste aside from colour scheme.

Fantastic! Really changes the look of a base when there is nothing rectangular. That’s a trap I fall in all too often.

Due to stuttering? Becuase of the mods or performance with the base game? Because it sounds like the 1.5 update will have a nice performance boost.

I'm not sure what was causing the stuttering but it was most likely a mod. I checked the game log and Dubs Performance Analyzer and couldn't see anything obvious.

I've had a lot of gains from setting ingredient ranges on workbenches really low, iirc that didn't really register in the analyzer but made a real noticable impact
