Yep, if she's got enough control (or whatever deus ex machina of the week) to not sap life out of people touching her (normally her main weakness), then it makes sense to power her up with all the powers available at the time so she can go kick ass.
Maybe if multiple people are touching her simultaneously then she only takes a fraction out of each individual?
This fits both my head canon and my understanding of how her powers are supposed to work but it really depends on who’s writing.

This is always the goofiest moment of X-Men to me, when cyclops starts responding to the narrator
You could look at it a number of other ways too. It could be:
It’s Cyclops’ inner dialogue
The narrator is narrating in time to his “NO!”s
Cyclops is the narrator
I dunno, I like it. Makes it feel personal.
Or the grief has driven him insane, allowing him to hear the narrator.
That was my interpretation. Kinda like Deadpool or, sometimes, the Joker.
