I love the idea that bruce wayne is the one writing his own legend to make himself look good, and paints his enemies as cartoonish villains, when in reality they're just trying to improve the world.

I wonder what the joker's non-propagandized version would look like too.

Makes sense. He does public executions and poisonings of gotham's leaders to try to inspire other ppl to do it too, to get ppl to lose faith in the system and help bring it down. Basically wants revenge for whatever they did to him.

Batman maybe knows what they did to him, and conveniently never shares it, to make him seem like a sociopath acting out of pure malice.
