Another look. These appear to be 3D printed. Lol, send more filament.

We sure this is the same shell? Looks smaller than the one in the OG pic to me, scale is hard to tell but I think those are those big ass plastic water drums to the side.

Also I need the .STLs please, and a bunch of chalk.

Yes. You are pointing out an issue of perspective, which is likely more pronounced due to the use of a wider angle lens for this shot. You cannot use the background for size judgments, just like you cannot hold your thumb up to a distant mountain and judge them to be the same size.

For a size estimation you need something that’s on the same plane, parallel to the lens, within the photo, such as the prop over the left fins on the side. One blade of that prop is roughly a forearm’s length, for reference.

At first look I thought it was a weed contraband drone.

Disguised as more weed.

You're telling me those 6 motors can lift 40kg? Or is it just TNT equivalent?

What is the destructive force of 40 kg in this format?

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 14 points 1 year ago

40 kg of weed? Dude, you'd be frickin' toasted.

That's one of those AliExpress agriculture drones with the bottom cut off

wouldn't it be easier to just use 2 x M2 19kg mortars?

Only if you have them. Ukraine has been developing many arms manufacturing companies, from very small to multinational building factories. They need it all to stay at par with Russia.

Why use your scarce ballistic munitions when you can pack this bad boy full of captured/defused/random explosives
