I am forever grateful that I just missed camera tech becoming cheap and ubiquitous.
Smartphones are what forced me out of the street racing scene. (Yes, I was a dumbass) Once I saw the first spectator recording races with an Iphone I dipped, I knew that shit was going straight to facebook.

TBH I think there are forces at play encouraging and manufacturing this sort of behavior. There are agents of destruction who want westerners to suffer economic consequences and cause subterfuge. Just like the cold war era of saboteur instruction pamphlets being circulated in Russia and East Germany.
I also think that the Gender Rift in South Korea is being fed and energized by outside influences as well. If SK's already incredibly low 0.8 children per couple decreases even more then instead of easing into lower populations they'll face the shock of incredibly high ratios of elderly to young adults in two generations. Meanwhile, the women who feel pressure to move somewhere where they have more value: somewhere nearby with a lower female:male ratio.
Don't get me wrong, though, power to the women to choose the 4B movement, and immigration can and should solve the population decline, but it still hurts to watch young boys radicalized to induce this sort of self harm.
