Just look at their post frequency and how much of it involves one subject (SA). When they post something they also respond to every single comment.

Geez, you're right. Misguided crusader type.
I have an alt-account that made some people feel a certain way that now gets instant downvotes within a few minutes of posting/commenting.
Yea, it's apparently a lot more common here than I realized. "Touch grass" is paradoxically dismissive and genuinely good advice for many users.
Yeah, that person is entirely out of their mind unhinged. I noticed they’re from .today. From my experience, a lot of trolls land there because the admins/mods there are basically asleep at the wheel.
Velma, the user who thinks any rape claim by a female should be presumed guilty until proven otherwise? That Velma?
Ya I'm starting to think she a part of a troll farm
She informed me I am a rapist over a story of legal, consensual sex.
Sounds like it, I didn't realize Velma was so infamous.
Can you also answer the post question to keep in line with rule 4?
Hard to say honestly. I get some random downvotes on innocuous comments sometimes, but there doesn't seem to be a specific pattern and I can't be arsed checking who downvoted.
Fair. I had multiple accompanying dms from my stalker so there wasn't a lot of mystery to it, otherwise there's no way I'd take the time to ferret out a random troll or five.
I think so. I had a couple of very strange downvoted comments after I called out that sanitation re-post bot.
Like, my wordl results in !dailygames@lemmy.zip had several downvotes (people hardly ever downvote on there).
So weird. and repost bots can get outta here, for the record. Was that one particularly obnoxious or prolific? I block a lot of heavy posters.
I was mostly bothered by the reposts that included an [OC] tag when it clearly wasn't. Also it was really funny how they simultaneous claimed not to be a bot but also described in detail how their repost script worked ... it was quite entertaining.
I think I know what account you're talking about. I think their justification was they also use that account as a person so their script is an "automation tool" instead of a not.
I don't know why people who run content mill bots think they are providing value.
Lol, I see.
Since I was sucked into their insanity and informed by "Velma" of some sort of "campaign" against them, I did a search & came upon this post. I'm not one to harass others - particularly those in such obvious need of psychiatric assistance - so I'll just post my evidence from my most recent interaction here (I've saved a web page copy should it get removed), and suggest Velma, their backers from that thread, and any community Velma moderates (such as that one) be added to your blocklist for your own sanity. Do not brigade, as that only feeds the mental illness that seems readily apparent to me. That's all I intend to bother saying in this subject.
Thanks. I'm definitely not the brigading type, but I'm very anti-censorship and anti-corruption.
Good limk, Velma does lash out in ways you wouldn't expect if you engage with her honestly. She has her narrow worldview and then bullies and trolls anyone who disagrees. For days!
I saw that part of her comment where she called you for an alleged slight from days ago, as if her holding grudges and gaslighting people for imagined slights is a jusitified and healthy way to behave.
Funny, this same user managed to get my main account banned by telling the lemmy.world admin I was stalking them. Guess every accusation is an admission with some people.
Oh, and the instance admin actually bought it and won’t listen to my side, so here I am LOL
Sorry to hear that. These early-access always-online mods are really irritating and bigoted. You can follow every rule of their communities while they and their small group of frontrunner friends simply don't. Then they take things way too far with personal attacks and like you're talking about, directly lying.
Their abuse is why I started this ask lemmy. If they're going to stalk and abuse lemmy and its users, there has to be a place available for discussion where they're not in control.
Ah well I’m not that bothered about the account. It’s just the way they arbitrarily apply the rules and won’t listen to reason that bothers me.
Anyway, I’ve sent the admin a message and this is the last time I try to talk sense into them. I’m not getting my hopes up
Sure: "tolerance for me, but not for thee"
Yea, in that kind of situation it pays to move forward. It sounds like that was also on *.world, you didn't want to try out another instance with a smaller cabal of overprivilege?
I have had follow requests which I respond with no but the gui seems to indicate they are my followers now. For what you are talking about I block liberally.
I've seen that following behavior as well, but I don't think I get a request for follows. I block a lot and have every intention of keeping the blocks going.
piefed has something in its software to create and ask on follows. Before it had automatic follows which I think was standard because of some sort of necissity with interaction with mastadon. Regardless though from my gui view it seems rejecting them do not work although im not sure if its because they are following or the gui just does not work right. I have talked to rimu and he does not see what I do on my account. I would not block someone for following me but im not a person looking to be followed.
Oh, interesting. Yea, I completely understand your perspective.
Naw, I just block. Velma got their block after "😭😭😭 please mark videos shown on the news as NSFW because we are so fragile I can imagine seeing death 😭😭😭". Much nice. Can recommend.
Edit: @velma@lemmy.blahaj.zone can you see this?
Hah! Saw that! I replied:
"No one has to watch that video."
Good work, I have a lot of blocks in place too.
