This dude needs to leave office. Hopefully AOC takes him out.

I mean, you’d hope age would take him out first, but yeah I guess AOC can. I mean, as long as she’s not directly tied to it she can still run for office, right? /s
Like, with a car?
Well, it's something more I'd expect from Bernie.
Off a cliff

Well yeah… AIPAC.
Historical Criticism: In 2019, Schumer explicitly condemned Omar’s comments as "wrong and hurtful" and compared her criticism of pro-Israel lobbying to neo-Nazi rhetoric during an AIPAC speech, forcing her into a public apology.
Political Distance: Analysts note that Schumer’s refusal to defend Omar aligns with his close ties to pro-Israel establishment groups and his frequent distancing from progressive lawmakers who criticize Israel, a pattern that has defined their relationship for years.
And he is going to be the leader of the Dems again.
Schumer also confirmed he is running for re-election as Senate Democratic leader, stating, "I am running for re-election for leader. Period."
Neoliberals would love it...
There's a reason they view progressives as a bigger threat; if they lose to progressives their only chance of retaining power is moderating the Republican party and switching back.
They can't fucking do that, I don't know if anyone can in less than a generation. trump blew their last shot at that, and if they try to create a third party, it just hands a progressive ran Dem party everything.
Their only chance is depressing Dem turnout 2028 and hoping they can get a corrupt chair in to run a rigged 2032 primary, during which Republicans would keep control.
Why 2032?
2028 will be a fair primary.
If a progressive wins, they name a progressive DNC chair, get another fair primary.
So, neoliberals are likely to try and blow up the 2028 election if they can't get the current DNC chair to resign.
I don't think it's a far fetched idea that they'd rather have 4 more years of fascism than a progressive president
He's waiting to see what his imaginary family thinks about it.
The Baileys told me that they think Schumer is a lying fraud and that they never said any of the stuff Chuck says about them. If Chuck wants to bring them in and prove it one way or another thatd sure be helpful and appreciated. Otherwise I gotta go with the word of the Baileys that I heard with my own ears.
The silence is deafening
Why would he? It goes against his capitulating nature.
Maybe he was secretly hoping Trump would actually deport her.
Of course he is. He’s owned by AIPAC
Doesn't Schumer look a lot like the war criminal Henry Kissinger?
Uncanny.

Lots of democrats in power are racists as well so it gets hard to move forward to a better day where we can leave that useless bullshit behind us. Maybe it's a human thing or maybe it's a capitalist thing. If the earthlings were all one colour you can bet that there would be sub-factions with the same kind of hate.
I dont like people who chew with their mouths open and make smacking noises, and I dont feel bad about oppressing them with rude statements and not passing them anything at the dinner table. They can stand up, walk over, and fetch it themselves.
Yeah, I said it.
If not skin color, it would be hair color, eye color, length of nose…. Of course there is always religion and jingoism, or the fact that someone is from Alabama.
He's putting his foot this time and he's been busy drafting a speech adamantly denouncing Trump for, again, doing something illegal and the next time it happens there definitely will be real consequences.
Why would he?
He's one of the leaders of the Democratic party. If he's not going to do his job, he needs to step down.
Oh, he's doing his job. It's what he's paid for.
He's in a position of power, but I would never call him a leader. He's a fat cat who has been bought and paid for.
The DNC have no power aside from blocking non-budgetary bills and even then the GOP could change the Filibuster rules if they really wanted to.
DNC plus Caucus is 47 senators, and a minority in the House.
They have the power to talk to the people and sway opinion. They choose not to use this power.
Which people?
Wrong and this why neolins and their pretend weakness has pissed everyone off. Even now, a new rule has been "found" that will allow Mike Johnson to fire a clerk and avoid seating people.
They can weaponize committees that hamper and stop appointments and actions
This "we are the minority and can't do anything" is bullshit
House Procedural Levers In the House, the minority can utilize motions to recommit, which are guaranteed opportunities to force a vote on substantive amendments or kill legislation. They can also leverage suspension of the rules procedures; since these require a two-thirds vote, the minority can withhold support to slow down business if they feel excluded from floor consideration. Furthermore, House rules authorize minority members to request separate hearing days with their own witnesses, a tactic used to investigate specific issues like D.C. statehood.
Oversight and Public Pressure Beyond floor rules, the minority can request subpoenas for witnesses or records to force transparency, even if they lack the votes to pass the motion, thereby highlighting majority refusal to investigate. They may hold minority panels or forums to publicize issues and gather whistleblower information, bypassing official committee processes. Finally, public protests and sustained media campaigns can mobilize constituent pressure, as seen when Democrats held the Senate floor overnight to protest an OMB nominee.
Strategic Coordination Effective obstruction often requires cross-committee coordination to identify and highlight negative impacts of executive actions on specific demographics, such as veterans or seniors. By issuing minority reports detailing these impacts in both Democratic and Republican districts, the minority can build public consensus against specific policies. This approach combines procedural delays with public accountability, making it more difficult for the majority to dismiss opposition as purely partisan.
We only ever see this used by Republicans, meanwhile, we just have to vote HARDER. Can anyone even FIND legit supporters of Jeffries and Schumer (that aren't Israeli)
They could STOP FUNDING MAGA
They could stop sharing the same financial donors as the people committing warcrimes and treason.
