167 years ago today, abolitionist John Brown led 23 men on a raid of the Harpers Ferry Armory. It resulted in 19 of them being killed, but also galvanized both sides and helped to spark the Civil War. (en.wikipedia.org)

A true American patriot. He did nothing wrong. It is moral and just to kill slavers and their supporters.

There used to be a great music venue in Boston called Harper's Ferry, which is how I learned about this event.
