To be clear, the US federal government has not refused international election monitors ever. This policy of allowing international election observers to observe our elections only started in 2002. However, in 2012 Texas and Iowa both threatened international observers with criminal prosecution if they came within 100 feet of polling places.

And SCOTUS won't hear any cases because he hasn't actually done anything yet.
Very few were ever taught what to do and how to do it if the government were ever radicalized and performed a hostile fascist takeover feom within. Most were indoctrinated to trust the system to be fair. No one is at all prepared to act, least of all the military.
But yeah, quite a few are just focused on their own little lives and hoping the system just works.
Congress are the true criminals in all this. It was their responsibility to check the balance of power and they failed miserably (and intentionally). Complicit spineless sycophantic fucks. When he finally does succeed in forming the Citizens' United Democratic Republic of American Sub-States, how many of them do you think will avoid his (literal) axe?
Yeah... international election judges tend to really frown upon being shot to death by the gestapo at the polls. I'm sure trump is just looking out for their best interests. Now, if Americans watching for trump's slimy underhanded election tricks start getting plugged - he won't worry at all.
