On a more serious note, don't use chloroform to knock someone else. It takes a while to kick in, and it has serious aftereffects. There's a reason anesthesiologists don't use it anymore now that we have safer ways to put people under

What would you reccomend, my not at all scary friend?

No anesthesia is without risks. It's usually a tailored and adaptive combination of drugs in the hospital.

Hitting someone with a blunt object over the back of the head?

[–] Ratio_Tile@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 58 minutes ago

Honestly that's probably safer

This is a World of Darkness joke.

The sigil on the fox furry is from Changeling: the Dreaming, and represents the Pooka, kith who take the form of animals in their seeming. Pooka are playful fae who delight in deceit and tricks. Their bane is that they are completely incapable of telling the truth, even if they want to.

The sigil on the truck represents the Technocracy, an organization of mages who think reality should follow the rigid logic of science and reason and that a world where a jealous neighbor can curse you with the evil eye or a dragon can burn your village down is a bad place to live. As is evident by the fact that our reality seems to follow their ideology, they are winning. Unfortunately, the Technocracy has found that, unlike dragons and krakens and the Mothman, certain things rhat go bump in the night such as vampires and werewolves and changelings do no stop existing when the Sleepers (we non-mages) stop believing in them. So, they are forced to make them stop existing the mundane way.

Cool, thank you for the thorough description. I’d heard of some of the World of Darkness systems but I didn’t know about the lore. Now I wanna play em

We can’t have nice things.

And they’ll shoot you if you try.
