5 Weeks left for this asshole to do what he wants. The left has to come out in such large numbers that results cannot be disputed effectively by anyone.
Then what? A law which says to stop military action against Iran that the Supreme Court strikes down? Cutting budget to ICE that the Senate filibusters?
I'm not saying that it won't be better, but the rot runs deep and can't be removed by a single election.

Ain't theocracy horrible? Members of the Trump administration desire Christian Nationalism for the US, and were it come to pass, we'd see similar things, like systematic discrimination against LGBT people.
USA is already seeing the moral decline from religious influences. With extreme discrimination of minorities, and taking away the right to abortion.
Absolutely if this is allowed to continue it will get worse. But USA is already a country heavily influenced by religious fanaticism.

In no case of Western intervention have regular citizens fared better. Afghanistan. Iran. Iraq. Palestine. Syria is being "governed" by a ~~CIA~~ Al Nursa operative and Syrians are rioting, despite a brutal crackdown and Israeli mass destruction.

Japan, who gets yen bailouts at US worker expense every other year; West Germans just helped the USA hide Nazis via Operation Paperclip.
Are either of those worse than the non-US-intervention alternative? How would it have been better for ordinary Japanese citizens for the totalitarian imperial government to be left in charge (and without US aid)? How would it have been better for ordinary German citizens to be hit with a second Treaty of Versailles instead of the Marshall Plan?

Because they live in a very black and white binary world where if you're not 100% in favor of everything they're doing then you're the evil enemy. It's gotten worse under MAGA but they were never particularly subtle to begin with.
