Ok so for those of us not fluent in French, could you please translate "La Rôche-Posay" for us so we stop chortling like middle schoolers?
It's a normal O, no accent. It's the name of a place, not really translatable. The argument is, prononciation of "posay" is nowhere near to "pussy" if you pronounce it the regular French way.
It's prononced more like "pause-hay".
So, pronouncing pussy but in a funny exaggerated way? I'm imaging Turk from scrubs describing what he did over the weekend to JD.
It's a "O" sound followed by a "Z" sound. So, if you have a really, really weird way of pronouncing "pussy", I guess.
To be fair, it's about how I'd imagine inspector Clouseau pronouncing 'pussy', so it tracks
So basically, it's the name of a village, and they have rocks there.
