If you did not have a particular management problem until the AI came along, then I can say it's an AI problem.

I continually notice that the assertion some particular skill is needed to properly utilize the LLM, is rarely accompanied by any meaningful description of the path to develop that skill. Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places.
Its like the old joke about Software Engineers having a degree in Googling.
It's not strictly wrong in the sense that there are good results and bad results and you can sorta tweak things, but it was only ever just coincidence that you happened to be looking up the same approximate subject matter as what the people who maintained Google were working on, so the search results tended to be better than average.
I think AI is kind of like that stupid universal socket wrench head that has a bunch of pins in it. The main skill in using something like that would be guessing when it's not gonna work and not using it.
Reminds me a lot of the pro cryptocurrency people who drove by r/buttcoin to loudly claim that complaints about crypto being shit were wrong, but they never actually explained what was wrong.
Felt very 'trump just says wrong in the mic', not an attempt to reason or explain, but to dominate.
Also not logged into reddit on my phone, and love the 'you now need to use our app' wall you can no longer get rid off.
I bumped heads here before on that take, but I can empathize deeply with these people.
I expect that interacting with most of them will be infuriating, since they probably accepted the "this is just how things are done from now on" narrative of AI and are some level of infatuated with the fancy demos.
But this acceptance is also where the inescapable soul-crushing comes from. If you can adopt an internal posture of resistance, the prevalence of AI is still grating but you can adopt a perspective that doesn't devalue your own skill and makes personal impact conceivable. Many of these folks are pretty far gone, but a pipeline of recovery should be possible from a starting point like this.
Ha-ha.
