During the AI policy discussion on https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-workspace/-/work_items/187 someone called a KDE contributor out for their bigotry. KDE banned the person calling them out and removed all the comments.

I noticed those comments were removed today. Cheers for finding the archive of them.

The turn KDE has taken is absolutely astonishing. I regret the donations I've made to them :(

Edit: they did ultimately ban the racist, though it's not a great look that the person exposing the racist was also banned.

Welp, that is another nail in the coffin for KDE. I don't want to use a DE that protects fascist creeps; even more motivation to change to a WM and continue my learning journey so I can build my own WM that I can guarantee will be free from LLM assisted code.

bee_fumo and Svin share the same avatar, and Svin's response saying they know who in that thread like their X posts, and they later edited that post to this (which is still viewable/hasn't been removed):

"You must be a fan of mine trolling from X" is admission that they are the same account.
