Yeah I think about that every time I type something along those lines lol. I could hyphenate, but the ambiguity is way funnier 😌

Dead ass, the amount of times Iv said I'v become more nationalistic in recent years and that their should be less imagrents coming to the country (Canadian, justin Trudeau our old pm was just mass importing low skill labor and destroy our social services and job availability for youths.) holy shit do nazi and racist idiots get that messed up and out themselves to me out here in the countryside. Never had this happen when I was living in the city.

"I want less imagrents because it's affecting the standard of living for younger generations already living here, you want less imagrents because your racist and hate brown people, we are not the same."

But are either of you correct?

[–] chemicalprophet@slrpnk.net 11 points 4 days ago (1 children)

It's called nuance dick head, life in not black and white.

Wage labor is a race to the bottom for labor. Keeping immigrants out does not address the race to the bottom for labor. The eight hour work week was won from events like the Haymarket Affair.

Yes but the foreigners aren't often inclined to push for it like the people here saddled with already living here are, they send money home and often live with less then steller condiditons because for a lot of them it's temporary condition in their minds, I'm getting the sanse that a lot of the negative comments on this chain are know it all American that know nothing of the massimportation of labor we had here in Canada this last decade.

[–] chemicalprophet@slrpnk.net 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Explain the nuance, pussyface.

Brother there's over a billion Indians we can't really give a job to all of them.. It's not like they are a country at war or starving

Yes, as soon as carney closed the gate, social services have begun alleviating and both my younger sister and brother have found jobs, a lot of study's about imagration improving the economy doesn't take into account non working dependeds, under the counter work, money being sent home and not recycled in the system the job takers working in, dependents overtraining the system among other social issue. A lot of study's say their is growth in buisness but I question if that growth is just their to facilitate the new influx of workers, that buisness doesn't need to exist and doesn't Adress many of the issues Iv states here (the influx of social system strain and recycling of wealth back into the economy their working in.) don't get it twisted tho, I'm not say no imagrents at all in the future, I'm just say don't import half a million every year, it was fine when it was 50k to 100k and should have stayed that way but now we have to close the gate so we can digest the influx we already have.

Oh and yes the bigots are Incorrect, hating minority for simply being a dif skin colour is bone headed and closes you off to the potential to work with and befriend those who can do good for you and your comunity, to throw that away for something so pointless is stupid.

NGl it's big business that's been pushing hardest for the mass importation of immigrants. Immigrant labor can be paid less, has fewer rights, is more prone to suffer wage theft and it allows the copros to offload native born, higher paid employees. Same thing is in the US WRT the agriculture. I have friends that have degrees in horticulture and actively tried to get jobs on farms but wouldn't get hired.

White, native-born Americans don'tcha know. They come with legal protections and income minimums and we can't have that!

Countries really need to put the boot to big businesses that demand mass importation of cheap labor.

In the USA farmers are getting squeezed by the large conglomerates. Sure, they need hands. They can't afford the expense. Being unable to find a job is not due to immigrants, but the state (regulation) and capital (silo middle actors) in cohoots. They'll fix the price farmers can sell at and restrict growth to control prices. It's like the state thinks command economies are communist unless they do it.
