The meme is a good ass meme because it is pro-Palestinian liberation, but very explicitly in a fuck-nazis kinda way.

Too much of popular discourse around Israel is rooted in antisemitic conspiracy theories Nazi and white supremacist scumbags like tucker Carlson and Candace Owens are happy to now have an audience to spread. Instead it should be rooted in anti-colonialism and anti-ethno-nationalism.

Your reply, to me, reads as somewhat of a nonsequitur unless I'm missing something. Maybe we misread eachother or the meme. But, yes the death of many Jews would be a huge tragedy; the death of many people of a given demographic would always be a tragedy. But Israel chose to build an ethno-nationalist political project in an already occupied land. The ideological conclusion of that was always going to be genocide. Theres not really any tolerable solution here. But very notably, Palestine had no agency in the building of a settler colonial ethnostate in their home. What are they to do? Is it their fault that their oppressors are Jewish?

If the indigenous peoples of modern day north america had successfully fended off the settler colonial capture of their home, they'd have killed huge numbers of European white folks, and I would not exist. And that would be a tragedy for the loss of life but it would also be entirely justified self-defense. Israel is much younger than the US, and very explicitly a genocidal ethno-nationalist settler colonial state.

The Arab world wants the end of a genocidal ethnostate being built in their home by outsiders, the Israeli government wants to build a home where someone else is already living by killing everyone already living there, bulldozing their domiciles, double tap bombing civilian infrastructure, and starving everyone to death.

Those things are not the same. For all the talk of Israel having the right to self defense it's Palestine who has that right- Israels existence means the end of Palestine. If the western world wanted to care about how gently the Arab world ended its own oppression they really needed to think about that before giving away land that wasnt theirs and then supplying and bankrolling a slow suffocating genocide, denying that it was happening the whole time.

When the white folks comit genocide with our guns we dont care. When the brown folks might successfully defend themselves we wring our hands at the hypothetical loss of life. We shouldn't have ever been in this situation, but here we are, because the western world and Israel willed it, and there is very sadly no polite way of fixing it anymore. Israel has through infrastructure and policy made a two state solution impossible (they've divided the western bank with Israeli development as an intentional safeguard against building a contiguous Palestinian state), and frankly, having a two state solution where the ethno-nationalist settler-colonial state gets to keep half of a land where they cleared space for themselves through slaighter is a horrific injustice.

There is no just outcome anymore. Israel has taken (been built out of) something that was not theirs to take. It makes me sad that we only seem to care about bloodshed now that the bloodshed and tradgedy might result in the end of oppression for a given people, rather than cementing it.

Its not controversial, it shows the lack of knowledge and poor understanding of the situation.

I would advice to start reading more about Palestine and our history of resistance, try to do it without a bias and the dehumanization of Arabs you have in your head.
