What would happen to jews in israel if the state of israel would be disolved?
Right now the only thing that keeps the arab nation around israel from genociding the jews is the military power that the state of israel provides.
Calling for freedom in gaza is legit.
Calling for the the removal of israel is accepting the genocide that would happen if that state would cease to exist.

Calling every ignorant person we come across a Nazi seems like it would only serve to make them shut down and kills any hope they might think about the thoughtful replies they got about why their position is ignorant, including from me.
Being an ignorant person with shitty uninformed takes is not the same thing as being a zionazi. I think we should really try not to alienate people who might be amenable to understanding the issue better.
Making people defensive just makes them look for ways to rationalize and support their position, and far right ideology is built out of a persecution complex

Preemptively categorizing people as part of an evil ideology for being ignorant and not understanding the conflict and historical background leading to current moment seems likely to only ensure they end up identifying with that ideology, given that its built out of a perception of persecution. If they don't understand why they're wrong, they're not likely to fix their shit, and I'd rather see progress than feel like I have the moral high ground from which to look down at someone.
I don't expect them to be handled with kid gloves or given a pass for saying shit that enables harms. And protecting people here from harm of being exposed to ideas that enable violence must always come first, but I don't think many of the people who would truly be harmed by their ignorance are here. I just hope we can handle people's ignorance and shitty ideology in a way that results in less ignorance and shitty ideology, rather than more.
Ultimately you're mod, not me; it is your decision to make. I expect you dont share my perspective but I appreciate you reading my thoughts either way.

Seeing this little interaction here, and your long historical explanation comment below, even though it was two days ago, I just wanted to tell you.
I've been in your position before, and wanting to inform clueless people of the opposing ideology, is a good thing to aspire to, and it's good to try in many other cases.
However this specific person you're responding to, is not clueless, and their opinion isn't what it is because of lack of knowledge.
Their comment, was textbook D.A.R.V.O. (Wikipedia link, see if you can track the exact sentences for each step lol), followed by the simplest moral grandstanding.
It's exactly the comment a propaganda bot would make, and, while I don't think this person is an actual bot, the very core of what they're (probably thoughtlessly) writing, is 100% ideologically coherent and pure and intentional:
This means they can strictly, only believe in one of the two following things:
Either "Israelis" and "Arabs" (funny racist equivalence lol) are the same, and it's human nature to genocide without cause, which is why the Israelis have to currently genocide first as self defense to prevent something that hasn't happened, or
"Arabs" "genociding" Israelis would happen with cause (I wonder what that cause would be), and prevention of that "genocide" is morally acceptable and neutral (therefore the causes of that enmity, are not deplorable (read: the current ongoing genocide is not morally deplorable))
This is not a clueless perspective. It is the, textbook, fascist ideological perspective.
One can never "stumble" into this opinion, whether a refined and experienced apologist, or just intuitively picking up the most useful and most defensible-sounding argument, that really represents their opinion, without understanding that opinion.

Too much of popular discourse around Israel is rooted in antisemitic conspiracy theories Nazi and white supremacist scumbags like tucker Carlson and Candace Owens are happy to now have an audience to spread. Instead it should be rooted in anti-colonialism and anti-ethno-nationalism.
Your reply, to me, reads as somewhat of a nonsequitur unless I'm missing something. Maybe we misread eachother or the meme. But, yes the death of many Jews would be a huge tragedy; the death of many people of a given demographic would always be a tragedy. But Israel chose to build an ethno-nationalist political project in an already occupied land. The ideological conclusion of that was always going to be genocide. Theres not really any tolerable solution here. But very notably, Palestine had no agency in the building of a settler colonial ethnostate in their home. What are they to do? Is it their fault that their oppressors are Jewish?
If the indigenous peoples of modern day north america had successfully fended off the settler colonial capture of their home, they'd have killed huge numbers of European white folks, and I would not exist. And that would be a tragedy for the loss of life but it would also be entirely justified self-defense. Israel is much younger than the US, and very explicitly a genocidal ethno-nationalist settler colonial state.
The Arab world wants the end of a genocidal ethnostate being built in their home by outsiders, the Israeli government wants to build a home where someone else is already living by killing everyone already living there, bulldozing their domiciles, double tap bombing civilian infrastructure, and starving everyone to death.
Those things are not the same. For all the talk of Israel having the right to self defense it's Palestine who has that right- Israels existence means the end of Palestine. If the western world wanted to care about how gently the Arab world ended its own oppression they really needed to think about that before giving away land that wasnt theirs and then supplying and bankrolling a slow suffocating genocide, denying that it was happening the whole time.
When the white folks comit genocide with our guns we dont care. When the brown folks might successfully defend themselves we wring our hands at the hypothetical loss of life. We shouldn't have ever been in this situation, but here we are, because the western world and Israel willed it, and there is very sadly no polite way of fixing it anymore. Israel has through infrastructure and policy made a two state solution impossible (they've divided the western bank with Israeli development as an intentional safeguard against building a contiguous Palestinian state), and frankly, having a two state solution where the ethno-nationalist settler-colonial state gets to keep half of a land where they cleared space for themselves through slaighter is a horrific injustice.
There is no just outcome anymore. Israel has taken (been built out of) something that was not theirs to take. It makes me sad that we only seem to care about bloodshed now that the bloodshed and tradgedy might result in the end of oppression for a given people, rather than cementing it.
Its not controversial, it shows the lack of knowledge and poor understanding of the situation.
