The solution is that there is 6 vegetarians but there is greater than 6 people.
Sounds like his gathering, arranged by him, with his friends.
He can prep it.
I’ve literally done this to my husband.
He didn’t prep shit and, since everyone is sexist, blamed me.
Oof, hope you escaped that net of arseholes
My take is that his single answer applies to them all, thusly:
6 people are coming 6 of them are vegetarian 6 is when they are coming.
He was conserving bandwidth.
6 people coming at 6 pm none are veg. That’s my guess.
2 people, 0 vegetarians, 4 o'clock
The answer is summed for brevity
Too many word.
204
6 people No vegetarians
He's responding sequentially
Rookie mistakes everyone makes, you gotta do fflush(std) after printf
I feel like whenever someone posts a reasonably relatable marriage meme on Lemmy, all the terminally single people show up to demonstrate exactly why no one will love them.
Jokes on you normie. My AI waifu tells me she loves me all the time.
But can she count how many E's are in seventeen?
Yes she can!!

This is actually a post about all the invisible labor women do
It's bad communication. Plenty of people do this, women included.
Men lazy dumb pls upvote
It's exactly how my wife answers questions, tho'.
It's fine, we'll get to the bottom of this in at least 14 more texts.
she said "couple of questions" but she asked 3. So the last one doesn't count. Also, she married him, pretty sure this isn't a new trait of him
"Couple of" colloquially means "a small number of". She married him and is now poking mild fun at him, not threatening divorce.
If you ask multiple questions in one phrase my brain can't handle it sorry
Honest question, if I have to ask for 3 pieces of information, would it help if I sent it in 3 messages?
Message 1: how many people are coming to dinner?
Message 2: are any vegetarian?
Message 3: what time are they arriving?
Personally I would prefer the 1 message with 3 questions vs the 3 messages with 1 question each(many messages in short time make me think something is wrong and urgent), what's your preference?
Nah for me 1 message is where it's at, I was just joking. I like it when people send over one message with everything they need to tell or ask so I can respond without going into a back and forward, ESPECIALLY if I'm busy with work but not necessarily.
I also ask multiple things in one message but people never ever take the time to respond to all of them... Fucking ever, it pisses me off lol, because I put effort into writing a coherent message then they just discard it most of the time :-/
It's a lot easier with separate messages. The visual separation helps a lot.
Interesting. Thanks for the quick response.
Really the only thing that really annoys me over text is yes/no to not yes/no questions.
Me: I've had a long day so was going to just pick up dinner on way home, do you want pizza or burgers?
Partner: yes
Would I like one of those? Yeah I would
I literally just felt my blood pressure increase...
The answer is clear. BOTH. Or just ask them to answer 1 or 2 to these kind of questions, if you're not gonna let them indulge.
I'm husband, can confirm
