It's why you don't buy a white couch. It shows all the stains. You want a darker colored couch to hide dirt, orange juice spills, that kind of thing.
Only rich people have money for a white couch. Because if you spill some wine on it, and the stain won't come out, they can afford to replace it, no questions asked.

Conservatives are EXTREMELY good at indoctrination. The kids will unfortunatley probably never question their racist father's racist remarks.
Between home schooling and only hanging out with other church folk it's evil and apparently not really effective if it can be all undone with a year of university.
It’s not really that so much as Indians of high caste (which his wife is) basically consider themselves ‘white’. So as far as they’re concerned he’s talking about other people, not them.
Casteism and racism are functionally equivalent. Both are based on how / where you're born rather than who you are.
For centuries, people of European descent saw themselves as the global upper caste because of their skin tone and heritage.
It's taken time to undo that regressive thinking, and even though there are some white people who continue to think themselves superior today, most are not racist.
Similarly there are people of Indian upper caste heritage that do not support caste discrimination / supremacy.
I can't speak for Usha Vance herself but her mom, in her capacity as provost of the University of California San Diego's Sixth College, created a pilot course on race, ethnicity and gender in biology and medicine, served on the university's biological sciences diversity committee, and wrote proudly of her school's commitment to diversity.
I strongly doubt that she sees herself as "white". She also does not strike me as a woman that would raise a family with racist or casteist values. Where Usha went wrong is anyone's guess (probably at some point in her education in the US / meeting Vance) but her heritage likely has little to do with it if her mom was championing these values openly.
Both casteism and racism must be abolished.

Has nothing to do with with ethnic makeup tho.
the german far right leader (female) is married to an ~~indian~~ sri lankan woman and when asked about how that relates to her plans of deporting brown people she said her wife 'does not count because she was adopted by a white family in switzerland'
i mean, they also run a populist platform aimed at poor people with a libertarian program to wipe out social assistance though, so why am i even suprised by the hypocrisy?

Because the one true original ethnicity in America are Native-Indians and everybody else who came afterwards, including his own ancestors, were the ones making it multi-ethnic.
Pretty sure there were also Germans, and Poles, and French, and Swedish, and Dutch, and Spanish, and Portuguese, and Italians, and quite a lot of Irish and one particular point in history.
Oh, yeah, the "Go back home to England" is just a saying rather than representative of historical reality.
The remaining tribes would then proceed to kill each other (as they did before the English ever arrived).
The tribes were not one ethnicity, either.

His kids will grow up and learn to hate him. Just like Musk's and Trump's do them.
I also predict when he loses in '28, his wife will leave him, then run for Congress as a Democrat a couple of years later. It will be a very messy and public divorce.

Diaspora Indians are, somehow, white Europeans. Also, some confused Latinos. They'll learn eventually that Western imperialism cannot be separated from white supremacy, requiring the dehumanisation of others as a foundation, and they'll be a main target sooner or later before white infighting takes place ("are Italians even white???"/"fucking Krauts!").
