Both roads have been regularly travelled by car. I don't think any of those would be untravelled enough for Frost
The leaf litter makes it apparent that the right road is the road more often traveled. Now my guess is this is a driveway split off to two wooded properties.

The left one is the real path based on the fence, the straighter trees, and the fact there's a band of highwaymen on the right-side ready to ambush you
