Buy Canadian

I've used PartsAvatar.ca, TheWrenchMonkey.ca, TDotPerformance.ca, and don't forget good old Canadian Tire - I'd never let them work on my car, but I've bought parts.

It's like asking for a USB cables that aren't manufactured in, or of, Chinese parts.

Car parts are sourced from the same, very limited number of, suppliers.

I've used partsavatar.ca a couple times, I used to compare their prices with rockauto and order whichever was cheaper. Generally rockauto is cheaper but then once you add the shipping they're about the same price.

The alternative would be a physical store like Napa, PartSource, Lordco or Auto Value but generally their parts are more expensive because they have a physical location to operate as well

I've been using RockAuto forever, and even now it would be my first choice, but with the reciprocal tariffs coming, it might be harder.

Remember, the biggest parts retailer in Canada is still Canadian Tire and PartSource. The few times I've needed parts that were too heavy to ship like batteries and stuff I goto PartSource. My mechanic sources all his parts from PartSource as well.

Princess Auto is like a candy store for car and machinery parts, and is Canadian. You can check their site if they have what you need. It's a retailer, not a brand, though.

If you're savvy enough, check out local car part picker yards. You go in with your own tools, find a vehicle of the same make or model, then retrieve the parts yourself.

Cheaper than some places, and local! Sure the parts may be used, but sometimes you can find great stuff. I found an entire set of mags for my car at one. Less than new, with a small scuff I buffed out.

I don't think it's possible. Rock Auto doesn't list the country of manufacture. I'm pretty sure it's because very often the exact same item (part, brand, and serial number) is made in different factories in different countries. I've ordered the exact same thing and sometimes it says made in China, other times Mexico for example. I'm pretty sure this is true regardless of which retailer you order from, so unless you are physically looking at the item before you buy it, you probably won't be able to know. And these days, even going to my local parts store, they will most of the time need to order parts in from elsewhere.
