Spandex in size 18? yikes.
Sizes have trended lower and lower and lower. There's no real standard and brands benefit from having smaller size numbers because of how it makes buyers feel about those clothes.
Size 000 was introduced in 2014. That was probably the original size 1 and they just kept adding zeros as time went on.
