God damn, this was an unsettling movie. Really enjoyed it.

I actually had to turn it off halfway through and then revisit it the next day in the daylight. My wife asked "are you scared?" and I was like "not really scared, just deeply unsettled."
Yeah, it's really not scary at all, the premise is just so silly. But the execution is so morbid and handled with such attention to detail as to drive it home anyway.
Spoiler
The way Bear ends up dying in what is basically a reenactment of the way his cat dies at the beginning of the film, with him taking the cat's place, and Nikki taking his place... Jesus. What even do I do with this? I guess the magic behind the One Wish Willow is omnipotent, or otherwise able to tap into Bear's private memories to torture him to his last breath? Anyway, what the fuck... Gotta hand it to whoever came up with all that.
You might like The Kid Detective then.
For the rest of your life at the very least
She seems so sweet and perfect
except, if she does so right when you catch on fire.
One context, please.
It's another case where there's no joke to get except "recognize this pop culture reference???!?"
Gotta see obsession. Best horror movie I’ve ever seen.
Seriously great movie. I saw it this weekend and now have been telling all my friends to watch it so I have people to discuss it with. The problem is that since it's a horror movie, a lot of people I've told are just hard passing.
They're missing out. It's scary, but it's also a legit good movie. The scariness in the movie isn't really like that from cheap jump scares like most movies, but just from this weird sense of something being very, very wrong.
You need new friends! Find a one wish willow and wish that all your friends loved horror movies more than anything in the world. That won't backfire.
~~I think~~ it's a screenshot from the movie Obsession. Spoilers ahead but I'll be as vague as possible:
Obsession plot summary and scene that I think the screenshot is from
A guy just can't find the courage to tell his crush he's into her. He gets his hands on an artifact that grants him exactly one wish so he wishes that she'll love him more than anyone else in the world. True to the "careful what you wish for" trope, she becomes utterly obsessed with him.
This screenshot might be from a scene where he leaves the apartment and she just stands there and stares at the door until he comes home. She doesn't move a muscle apart from eventually losing control of her bladder.
I was blown away by this womans performance.
Was i the only one who thought the movie was gonna end by both of them getting trapped and then they would remain eternally tortured souls trapped inside the bodies controlled by some stupid wish supernatural thingy.
I was getting “Chat GPT falling in love with Claude” vibes in this moment.
