Good time to point out that it's very much worth converting you existing router (if you own it, and are not renting it) to Openwrt, an excellent open-source Linux based firmware replacement (just make sure your model is supported).
Doing so will drastically improve your network security by not running vulnerable or outdated firmware, as well as potentially removing hidden backdoors which may come with your router from the factory,
