Jeffries is the quintessential neocon corpo democrat. He, and others like him in the house and senate need to go. If you're a "democrat" and don't support universal healthcare, then you're just another obstacle to be removed.

To put it in a weird context: I am like 50 and I was so conservative as a younger man that I was nicknamed after Rush Limbaugh. OK? I was a pre-Trump right-wing asshole.
And even I favored Medicare for All. As a conservative Republican.
Why? Because it made the most business sense. You mean I can control my health care costs, cover everyone in the country, cut out like 2/3 of the paperwork, anyone can see any doctor, and I can let HR do something other than insurance paperwork? You couldn't build a bigger political win-win-win-win-win.
That's actually the issue that drove me out of the party. Romney running against Obamacare (aka Romneycare) as if he didn't invent the fucking plan was my last straw.
If you're a business conservative against Medicare for All, you need a new CPA.
I'm glad you can see the light on this issue, I live and work in a very conservative area and anytime I try to bring the business advantage argument up with the people around me they just fall back on "commie socialism" and "death panels" and then shut down on me. At this point I'm convinced even their God king trump couldn't convince them it's actually the better option....not that he would but you get what I'm saying.

This is the corporatocracy in action. An unpopular GOP congress who refuses to check their own party's Unitary Executive, and a Democratic Party leader who refuses to back a measure popular with citizens. Who wins? Health Insurance companies. Who loses? The poor who can't afford health insurance, and those who have health insurance and can't afford their deductibles, so they go without recommended healthcare.

So continue to support DSA and those Dems who DO support univesal health care. Support them BEFORE the primaries. Support them by voting for them IN the primaries. And support them in the general election should they make it.
But just a quick reminder: A centrist Democrat will still stand up for more of your rights than a fascist, and this is where the "vote blue no matter who" comes into play. At every stage, support the candidate(s) that will protect our rights the most.
The time to act is BEFORE the general election.
The MAGA comedy act of Schmuck & Schumer need to get the hook, and be dragged offstage. They are 50% of the reason MAGA was able to regain power, and they should NEVER be given another chance at it.
The first thing the new House and Senate should do is remove these two losers, and replace them with Warriors. Then these two should be heavily investigated, because I'm pretty sure we're going to find they have been paid by MAGA or Israel, or both, to manage the Democratic decline.
They had their opportunity, and they squandered it badly, possibly by design. They don't get a second chance.
