I’m a software dev and I’ve recently also thought about switching careers but I have literally no idea what else I could do. Been job hunting for a little over 4 months and I’m just getting rejections.
I’m really desperate and have never been this uncertain about my future…

It's a very rough market out there atm especially for career switching
I know. But I never expected finding a job as dev to be this hard. Especially when I apply to jobs that are basically exactly the same thing I’ve been doing for years.
Even had 3 rounds of interviews with a company where the CEO straight up told me they need people who have extensive knowledge of my former employers product and they were hoping to snatch up ex employees only to then be told to fuck off.
