Plenty to keep you busy!! Are you still in caithness or back home?

Back in Embra now. But wanting to get back up sooner after this time. A few jobs needing done, and very peaceful. And, the Ember bus now stops in the village, so much easier to get up. I can probably leave Edinburgh about 2 and get there that evening, which is a game changer

Sounds like that works perfectly for more regular visits!!

Went to the Unseelie Gathering in Paisley. Learned that if you think you're over-dressed for it you're wrong.

Yes, looked more fashion-con than fantasy con! How much did you spend on your outfit?

[–] Fluffgar@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 week ago

Hard to say. Probably around twenty pounds though. All reuseable bits. Charity shop purchases. Stuff I've made. The armour is infact cardboard, so very light, but based on real world armour parts. Research! Held up surprisingly well.

Ooh what did you dress as??

You choose a family to be part of before the event. Each has a theme.

Mine was The Withered. So I wore some lovely but faded old clothes. A green table-runner as a scarf. Pointed ears and horns (sheep-like). Pinned some bits of vine in my hair and drew some vine-like swirls on my face.

Oh, and there was the metal-looking arm I made. Photo. An armoured looking left arm. Steel-effect with swirls. Distressed. Holding a drink in a plastic cup. POV of wearer.

Well done indeed! Very creative. My costume making skills extend to hats off ebay. But I do love a hat!

Home from Spain, went for some food shopping and cakes from a pop up place! Had a nice hot bath tonight, watching my shit programmes and eating a bit of cake!! Decadent!!

Mmm, cake. Got a nice big tub? No such luck for Edinburgh boy here. Another reason to head back up north! Did loads of sauna yesterday, I do love the heat

Nah just a normal sized bath, but I love a hot bath, with my ipad! I love a bath bomb but havent had one for a while, but I could lie there ages!! The apartment we had in spain had a roof top with hot tub! I loved it!!!
