Coming to Animal Planet this fall: Simian Slander

[–] LifeInMultipleChoice@lemmy.world 50 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Yeah but "new" old evidence shows Russia tried to get him elected. Aka the lead up to his impeachment

[–] SaharaMaleikuhm@feddit.org 11 points 2 weeks ago

So think he could sue Putin and win?

[–] Peppycito@sh.itjust.works 45 points 2 weeks ago

And he's never sued anyone who's called him a pedophile.

[–] FauxPseudo@lemmy.world 38 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

The cases weren't lost. They were thrown out, dismissed or withdrawn the moment a judge asked for evidence. In order to lose a case a judge or jury must reach a finding. These trials never even got that far.

[–] JamieDub86@piefed.social 4 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

So is that better or worse?

[–] FauxPseudo@lemmy.world 15 points 2 weeks ago

More humiliating.

but never actually tries to deny/countersue when getting sued, by his victims for SA, he knows he guilty and the files is really damning on him. and if he countersues back at the victim for "lying" discovery and the trial, epstein file will likely be televisted nonstop, thats probably why trump is avoiding the files as well, besides not naming many politicians/ceos on it.

Notice how much he loves putting his name on things, then wonder why he took his name off his modeling agency.

tHe dEepStAtE !!!!!!

[–] Yerbouti@sh.itjust.works 13 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Yet he will steal the mid-terms and nothing will happen. He's not going away any time soon and even if he suddently dies, he has created a guideline for the republicans to keep the power. US democracy was done the day he got elected for the second time. I just hope the US will fall in a civil war soon so the rest of the world have a chance to make it.

[–] teslekova@sh.itjust.works 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

He didn't steal 2020, even though he tried. Trump isn't invincible.

[–] Yerbouti@sh.itjust.works 4 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

He's much more prepared now.

[–] NocturnalMorning@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

No the people actually in charge are more prepared. Trump is an old demented shit stain cult of personality. Maybe the reason they got where they are, but he isn't calling the shots anymore.

[–] architect@thelemmy.club 10 points 2 weeks ago

Lawsuits aren’t free. Technically we lost too.

[–] Hikermick@lemmy.world 9 points 2 weeks ago

Did any of them go to trial? I thought they all got thrown out for lack of evidence

[–] Lucidlethargy@sh.itjust.works 9 points 2 weeks ago

Many (all?) of these were WHILE HE WAS THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.

You can't say the deep state is hiding shit when the guy IN CHARGE OF THE DEEP STATE is unable to win a single case.

[–] Jankatarch@lemmy.world 8 points 2 weeks ago

Maybe he is trying to bankrupt the US government by lawsuits, nintendo style.

[–] danc4498@lemmy.world 6 points 2 weeks ago

He’s been president with all the courts, senate and house in his favor for nearly 2 years. He can’t even make up something convincing enough to his own party to do something with it.

[–] CannedYeet@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

As I recall he won one case but it was inconsequential. An election observer was asked to step back and apparently that was wrong. But no real impropriety with counting happened.

[–] ParlimentOfDoom@piefed.zip 3 points 2 weeks ago

That was like one specific small point of a larger case.

[–] WanderWisley@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

So you are saying after 63 L’s it might become a win?…

[–] jaybone@lemmy.zip 2 points 2 weeks ago

Is that the shadow from his giant hand?

Or the W from the Wendy’s sign where he’s going through the drive thru?

Actually looks more like the W from wienerschnitzel. Which is one fast food I don’t think I’ve ever seen him eat.

[–] NocturnalMorning@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

He looks like such a miserable human being. Take a good look, this is what it looks like when a kid grows up who didn't get a hug from their parents.

[–] TankovayaDiviziya@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

Precisely. He even tried to photobomb the winning Spanish football team during the World Cup just so he feels important.

[–] tigermountain@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

It's too easy for me to see the democrats continue to fumble their response to the challenge republicans pose.

[–] Mulligrubs@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

I'm not positive, but I bet we paid for those 62 cases, so it's no skin off of his ass.
