I keep checking... mine's always empty. Now what?

You're doing a good job!
Great comment! You discovered a flaw.
Now it's time to go fill it up, you handsome dog!
Yeah... I already have too many empty folders on my desktop.
That's my attaboy file. I save it for performance reviews.
I'm a teacher and do this with positive feedback I receive from my students. It helps whenever I dark out and feel like I can't cut it as an educator any longer.
I do have that folder! I will share its contents here :)
I call mine Kudos.
Y'all have jobs? :(
I don't have that much memory on my phone to store all of that from writing online everyday for twelve years. It's really the consistency of developing yourself that makes the compliments come in at a rate that you don't need to save them as you become self-sustainable in your own personal confidence to be as you do and do as you be.
Thankfully I cannot put files on my desktop (many Linux desktop environments do this now). It's just a clean and beautiful background photo. That's closer to a happy place for me.
Then put the folder somewhere else?
