Patty approaches Charlie Brown as he crouches on the ground wearing his cap and mitt. She asks, "Why won't you let Schroeder play on your team?"
He turns to her and exclaims, "Do you think I'm crazy?! He can't see a thing!"
She asks, "Are his eyes that bad?" He replies, "His eyes are perfect..."
He points to Schroeder who is wearing a huge hat that covers his eyes. He says, "But look at that cap!"
